Savasana ends. The room cooled while you were lying still, your heart rate dropped, and the cold finds your shoulders and lower back first. You sit up, reach for something, and everything in your bag is either a thin tee or a jacket with a zip that digs in when you fold forward.
This is the layer for that gap. The Wildflower Bunch is printed on a Comfort Colors garment dyed sweatshirt, a heavyweight crewneck at 9.5 oz/yd² that traps warmth the moment you put it on and holds it through the slow walk to the car.
What you are getting
- 80% ring-spun cotton, 20% polyester — ring-spun cotton is combed before spinning, so the face of the fabric feels smooth against skin that’s still warm and slightly damp, and the polyester keeps the body from twisting out of shape in the wash.
- 9.5 oz/yd² weight — heavy enough to be your only top layer over a tank on a 50°F morning, so you stop carrying two things.
- Relaxed fit — room through the chest and underarm, so you can raise your arms overhead or sit cross-legged without the hem riding up your back.
- Sewn-in twill label — no printed neck tag to scratch at the base of your neck when you lie down.
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified dyes — the colour has been tested for harmful substances, which matters when the fabric sits on bare skin for an hour.
- S to 3XL — size up one if you want it to read oversized and fall past the hip.

What a garment dyed sweatshirt actually is
The sweatshirt is sewn first in undyed fabric, then dropped into the dye bath whole. Colour soaks into the seams, the cuffs and the thread at the same time, so nothing looks bolted on afterwards. What you get is that soft, slightly faded, broken-in tone you’d normally have to wear something for two years to earn.
It also means pieces vary a little from one to the next. That’s the method working, not a fault.
The honest part about heavyweight cotton
At 9.5 oz this runs warm. It’s wrong for a heated studio, wrong for July, and it takes its time in the dryer. There are no pockets and no hood, since it’s a plain crewneck, so if you want somewhere to put your keys, look at a zip hoodie instead. Garment-dyed cotton can soften its colour over many washes, and the relaxed cut won’t give you a fitted silhouette in any size. If you want slim and sharp, this isn’t it.
Who this is for
For you if you want one warm, broken-in layer that lives in your mat bag from October to April. Not for you if you train in a hot room or want something light enough to stretch in.
Care
Wash cold, inside out, with similar colours. Tumble dry low. Skip the bleach, and skip the fabric softener too, which coats the fibres and dulls both the print and the dye.
Tomorrow you get to sit up after your last breath and stay warm instead of rushing to get dressed.
