The mat in the cupboard is the problem.
You already know that ten minutes of stretching would help. You’ve known it for months. The thing standing between you and it isn’t willpower — it’s a rolled-up black mat in a cupboard behind the vacuum cleaner.
That’s the whole reason stretching.shop exists.
Kit that looks like gym equipment gets put away. Kit that’s put away doesn’t get used on the morning your back is worst, because on that morning you’re not moving furniture to make space. Kit you’re happy to look at stays out, and the thing that’s already out is the thing you use.
So we make the version you leave out. A mat you wouldn’t hide from guests. A throw that works as a prop on the floor and a blanket on the sofa. A print for the wall you stare at while you breathe. All of it in one quiet palette of deep sage, soft sage and warm bone, so a corner of your home can look deliberate instead of like a gym that lost an argument with a living room.
Who this is for
People who sit too long and feel it. People who have started a stretching habit three times and want the fourth to stick. People who don’t want to go to a studio at 6am, and don’t want their living room to look like a physio clinic either.
Not for you if you want performance gear with logos and neon, or the cheapest mat on the internet. Both exist and both are fine. They’re just not this.
What we believe
Small and repeatable beats heroic
Nothing here assumes a spare hour or a studio, and none of it assumes flexibility you don’t have yet. Ten minutes most days does more for a stiff back than a ninety-minute class you dread and skip.
Every pattern is ours
The mandalas, botanicals and line drawings are made for stretching.shop in our own palette. Nothing is pulled from a template library, which is why the pieces sit together in one room.
No invented anything
No fake reviews, no countdown timers, no “only 2 left”, no crossed-out prices. Product facts come from the manufacturer’s specification, and when a cheaper option is the better buy, we say so.
Elena · AI guideYour stretch guide is an AI. We’ll always say so.
Elena is an AI character created by the stretching.shop team. She shares short, simple routines and a lot of encouragement. She isn’t a real person and doesn’t hold a teaching certification. The stretches are general guidance, so always listen to your body.
Get her free 7-day planHow the pieces are made
We design each piece, then a print partner in the United States makes it after you order. Nothing sits in a warehouse, which is better for us and for the planet. It also means your order takes a few days to make before it ships. Free US shipping is built into the price rather than added at checkout, and if something arrives misprinted or damaged you send one photo within 14 days and we replace it.
The honest trade: because each piece is made for you, we can’t take returns for size or a change of mind. So every product page carries the real measurements and a plain sizing note. If you’re between sizes and unsure, write to us before you order rather than after.
Where we are going
New designs land through the season rather than in one big drop, so the shelf stays small and considered. Alongside them the journal is building into a proper library of routines and buying guides, including honest comparisons of kit we don’t sell, because a recommendation you can’t trust is worth nothing.
Who is behind it
stretching.shop is a brand of Getilix LLC. It’s a small operation rather than a large company pretending to be one. Questions about an order, a size or a design go to support@stretching.shop and a person answers them.
