The idea arrives in the ten minutes between waking and standing up, and by the time you’ve found the phone it’s gone. Or it’s on a receipt. Or in a notes app under forty other notes you’ll never open again. Loose paper loses things quietly, and you don’t notice until you need the thing back.
Tiny Sprigs is a botanical hardcover journal built to be the one place everything lands. Small sprigs run across the full wraparound print, front to spine to back, so the book looks like an object rather than a supply. It’s 5.75 x 8 inches, the size that fits a tote without folding and still gives you a full line to write on.
What you are getting
- Matte hardcover – no glare under a lamp or a window, and no greasy shine after a week in a bag. It feels like paper, not plastic.
- 150 lined pages – roughly five months of a page a day, or one long project from first sketch to last list, without starting a second book mid-thought.
- 5.75 x 8 in – wide enough to write across comfortably, small enough to hold in one hand on a train or balance on your thigh between sets.
- Casewrap binding – the printed cover is bonded to rigid board, so the journal keeps its shape at the bottom of a bag and you can write on it with nothing underneath.
- Full wraparound print – the pattern continues over the spine, so it still reads as a botanical hardcover journal when it’s shelved sideways with the spine facing out.

The honest part about a casewrap hardcover
A hardcover doesn’t lie flat on page one. The first and last twenty pages or so want to lift, and you’ll hold them down with your palm until the spine loosens. That’s physics, not a defect. There’s also a small production barcode printed on the back cover, low and quiet, but it’s there and we’d rather you hear it from us.
The pages are lined. Not dot grid, not blank. If you sketch, plan in grids, or use fountain pens you want to flood, buy something made for that instead. And casewrap is printed paper over board – it isn’t leather, it won’t patina, and a soaked cover stays marked.
Who this is for
For you if you write in sentences and lists and want the book to look like something you chose. Not for you if you need a lay-flat sketchbook, a dot grid, an elastic closure or a ribbon marker.
Care
Wipe the matte cover with a dry cloth; skip water and solvents. Keep it out of the bottom of a wet gym bag, and it will still look like this in a year.
Tomorrow morning the thought has somewhere to go, and in March you can find it again. Printing starts once you order: 2-7 business days to make, then 2-5 days to reach you anywhere in the United States, shipping free. If it arrives misprinted or damaged, send one photo within 14 days and we replace it. Add Tiny Sprigs to your cart and give the loose paper a home.
