Ten minutes into a flow your palms start to creep forward. You walk your hands back, shorten the hold, and lose the thread of the sequence. The floor isn’t the problem. The surface between your hands and the floor is.
Eucalyptus Trail is a printed yoga mat built the other way round: a microfibre suede top over a natural rubber base. The suede takes the moisture your skin gives off instead of letting it pool, so traction builds as you warm up rather than disappearing. The eucalyptus print runs edge to edge. No border strip to line yourself up against, and no bare margin where your heel lands.
What you are getting
- 24 x 72 in (61 x 183 cm) — full length for most adults, so your heels stay on the mat in savasana and your hands stay on it in a long down dog.
- 3 mm (0.12 in) thick — close to the ground. Standing balances feel steadier because your ankle is reacting to the floor, not sinking into foam.
- Microfibre suede top — the more your hands warm up, the more they hold. Dry palms in the first few minutes can feel slick, so a light spritz of water before you start is worth it.
- Natural rubber base — the weight keeps the mat where you put it on hardwood or tile. No rucking at the front edge when you step back to plank.
- Edge-to-edge print — the design covers the whole top surface, not a panel in the middle.

The honest part about a 3 mm printed yoga mat
Three millimetres is thin, and thin has a cost. Kneeling work on a hard floor will press into your knees and shins: low lunge, camel, long seated sequences. If that’s most of your practice, fold a blanket under the knee or go buy a 6 mm mat instead. There’s no thicker version of this one.
The suede top also absorbs. That’s why it grips, and it’s also why the mat isn’t waterproof. A spilled drink soaks in rather than beading up, and it needs wiping and real air-drying time. Shipping is US and Canada only, so if you’re reading this from Australia or the UK, this isn’t the mat for you.
What it is made of
Two materials, and that’s the whole list: a microfibre suede top and a natural rubber base. We’re not going to claim certifications we don’t hold. What we’ll say plainly is that natural rubber is natural rubber — if you react to latex, choose something else.
Who this is for
For you if you sweat through a flow and want a surface that gets grippier as that happens, on a mat that looks like something other than gym equipment. Not for you if you want cushioning for kneeling, a thicker 6 mm build, or shipping outside North America.
Care
Wipe the suede with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry flat or rolled print-side out before you store it. Keep it out of long direct sun. No machine, no tumble dryer.
The aim is a down dog you hold for all five breaths instead of resetting your hands twice. Shipping across the United States is free; printing takes 2-7 business days, then 2-5 days in transit. If it arrives misprinted or damaged, send one photo within 14 days and we replace it. Add Eucalyptus Trail to your cart and practise on it.
