You step back into your first down dog and your hands creep forward. Half an inch, then another. By the third vinyasa you’re more interested in your palms than your breath, and the towel you threw down has bunched into a ridge under your left wrist. Most of that slip happens on mats that go glossy the second you start to sweat.
This printed yoga mat works the other way. The microfibre suede top takes moisture in instead of letting it pool, so grip builds through a session rather than disappearing. Underneath, a natural rubber base stays where you set it. The Dune Ripples print runs edge to edge across the whole mat, so the soft curved bands read as one continuous image under your feet, not a panel floating in a border.
What you are getting
- 24 x 72 in (61 x 183 cm) – a full-length mat, so a tall person in savasana keeps heels and head on the surface instead of on the floorboards.
- Microfibre suede top – absorbs sweat, which means your hands lock in during the back half of a hot class when most surfaces turn slick.
- Natural rubber base – heavy enough to hold position on hardwood or tile when you lunge back; no PVC foam skating across the room.
- 3 mm (0.12 in) thick – thin enough to feel the floor through your standing foot, so balance poses stop wobbling on a soft cushion.
- Edge-to-edge print – the Dune Ripples design covers the mat corner to corner, so it still looks intentional rolled out in the corner of a living room.

The honest part about a 3 mm suede mat
Two things you should know before this lands.
First, the suede top wants a little moisture. Walk in with bone-dry palms and the first few minutes can feel slippery until you warm up; a light mist of water across the surface sorts it out, and it’s standard behaviour for every suede-topped mat. If you only ever practise cold and dry, a rubber-top mat suits you better.
Second, 3 mm is a grounded thickness, not a padded one. Kneeling poses and supine work on a hard floor will want a folded blanket under the knees. If you searched for a 6 mm printed mat because joints need cushioning, buy the thicker one instead. Plainly, too: the suede absorbs, so this mat isn’t waterproof, and we ship to the US and Canada only, not Australia.
Who this is for
For you if you sweat, practise barefoot and want a printed yoga mat that holds steady through a long flow. Not for you if you need deep padding for knees or you mostly do slow restorative work on a hard surface.
Care
Wipe the suede with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry flat or rolled loosely with the print facing out. Keep it out of direct sun and skip the machine wash; heat is hard on natural rubber.
Tomorrow morning your hands stay put through the whole flow and you get to think about your breathing instead of your grip. Shipping is free across the United States; we print the mat in 2-7 business days and delivery takes another 2-5. If it arrives misprinted or damaged, send one photo within 14 days and we replace it.
