You had a good session. The teacher said something about your breath at the top of the inhale, or your left hip finally let go in a lunge, and you thought you’d remember it. Three days later it’s gone, buried under screenshots and a grocery list in your notes app. What’s worth keeping about a body practice tends to be small, and small things go missing unless they have somewhere to sit.
This is the Wildflower Meadow: a botanical hardcover journal with hand-drawn line art in deep sage, soft sage and pale sage grey on a warm bone ground. The print wraps all the way around, so the stems and seed heads carry over the spine and across the back cover instead of sitting as a single stamp on the front.
What you’re getting
- Matte hardcover — no glare under a studio ceiling light or a phone flash, and it doesn’t keep the shine of your fingerprints the way a gloss finish does.
- 5.75×8 in — small enough to go in a bag with a mat strap, big enough that you can write a paragraph on the page rather than a memo.
- 150 lined pages — roughly a page a day for five months. Enough to see a pattern in your hips or your sleep, not so many that it turns into a commitment you’re failing.
- Casewrap binding — the printed art is wrapped onto the boards themselves. The cover is the book, so there’s no dust jacket to slide off and get creased in your bag.
- Full wraparound print, front to spine to back — it reads as one meadow when it’s sitting spine-out on a shelf.

The honest part about this botanical hardcover journal
There’s a small production barcode on the back cover. That’s how these get printed one at a time instead of a thousand at once, and we’re not going to pretend it isn’t there. If you want a back cover that’s nothing but art, this isn’t your journal.
There’s also no elastic closure, no ribbon marker and no back pocket. It’s a lined hardcover and nothing more. If you need something that stays shut in a packed gym bag, or somewhere to tuck a class card and a folded workshop handout, buy a system journal with a band and a gusset instead. The pages are lined, too — if you sketch shapes, map postures or want dot grid, look elsewhere.
Who this is for
For you if you want one plain, good-looking place to write down what your body did today and the cue that made it work. Not for you if you want undated planner spreads, habit trackers or pre-printed prompts. These pages are blank lines, and you decide what goes on them.
Care
Wipe the matte cover with a dry cloth. Keep it out of the zip pocket that holds your wet mat towel; casewrap boards don’t love standing water.
Shipping is free across the United States. Printing happens after you order: 2-7 business days to make, then 2-5 in transit. If it arrives misprinted or damaged, send one photo within 14 days and we replace it.
Tomorrow’s session can end with the cue written down instead of half-remembered. Add the Wildflower Meadow journal to your cart and give the small things somewhere to live.
