The coffee table goes back against the wall. You unroll a slab of purple foam in the middle of the living room, and it has nothing to do with anything else in there. It stays out for a week. Then it lives behind the sofa, and the practice goes with it.
Meadow Line is a printed yoga mat that earns its place on the floor. Hand-drawn botanical line art in deep sage, soft sage and pale sage grey on warm bone. Three greens over a bone ground, drawn by hand rather than generated, so the stems read as marks instead of wallpaper.
What you are getting
- 24×72 in (61×183 cm) — a full standing sequence without stepping a heel onto the floorboards, and a 72 in length that takes a savasana with the arms out rather than tucked.
- 3 mm (0.12 in) thick — you feel the floor through it. Steady in a one-legged balance, easy to roll tight and carry.
- Natural rubber base — the weight in the thing. It’s what keeps a 72 in mat lying flat instead of travelling across the room mid-sequence.
- Microfibre suede top — soft and matte rather than tacky. It takes ink well and behaves like fabric under the hand.
- Edge-to-edge print — no white border framing the design. The botanicals carry off all four sides, so it reads as a piece of the floor.
- Ships to the US and Canada only — worth knowing before you get attached.

The honest part about a 3 mm printed yoga mat
Thin means honest contact with the ground. It also means kneeling on hardwood is firm. If your knees want cushioning, fold a blanket under them and keep this mat for the standing work. If you want thick joint padding for a long floor-based practice, a 6 mm mat is the better buy, and we’d rather you had one.
The other thing: a microfibre suede surface is fabric, not a rubber grip top. It isn’t waterproof, and it isn’t the tacky no-slip surface you want for a heavily sweating hot class. For a room-temperature home practice it’s lovely. For sweat-soaked flows, buy a rubber-top mat instead.
Is a mat even necessary
On carpet or a rug, you can get by without one. On floorboards or tile you can’t, and you probably already know it: no defined edge, nothing holding your hands where you put them. What a mat really gives you at home is a marked-out patch of floor that says practice happens here.
Who this is for
For you if you practise at home in a shared room and want the mat to stay out, visible, and in keeping with everything else in it. Not for you if you need deep joint padding, or a tacky surface for high-sweat classes.
Care
Wipe the suede top with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry flat or loosely rolled before you put it away. Keep it out of long direct sun, and store it rolled rather than folded so the print stays flat.
Tomorrow morning the mat is still out, still in the middle of the floor, and you step onto it instead of talking yourself into finding it. Shipping across the United States is free: 2-7 business days to print, then 2-5 in transit. If it arrives misprinted or damaged, send one photo within 14 days and we replace it. Add Meadow Line to your cart and give the practice somewhere to live.
